Yes, really. Extended cab, super short bed, extra flare on the fenders. I didn't say current Tacoma.

I would say it's for alignment consistency at the factory that's just a guess. But I promise Ford doesn't care how much exposure the F-150 badge gets. It's the blue oval that means everything. Recognized around the world in all languages. Also a well designed vehicle needs no badges to recognize it(Cadillac and BMW for example). The F series drop down front windows, large green house and low belt line have have been there for several generations. Save for the dropped windows the other two have been a design trait of the F series since the 1990's aero trucks.

On topic... I prefer to remove all badges/stickers from my vehicles. I'll have to settle for black side badges on the F150.
