Caution:
More weight from tools, keys, trinkets, etc. put extra stress and wear on the ignition switch. They can and do fail prematurely from weight.

I use to carry a monkey fist but got tired of it swinging around. Had a guy make a flat braid just a little less than palm width long. It makes it easy to pull keys out of pocket. Key ring is actually a grenade ring.
