Default Changing Tire size on 13, taller

Getting near needing tires, I am thinking about going from 275/55/20 to something a tad taller to fill the fender well.

Some questions:

1.) what size do I need to go to,height wise, over my current 55's to really see a difference;

2.) what will going taller impact? Speedometer? Ride? MPG loss?

Any pictures? my truck is stock no lifts or anything.

thanks

You can go up to a 275x60x20 33x11 like I did...P rated so they still ride good and mpg loss is at a minimum. They'll fit at stock height on a 4x4 with no rubbing using the stock 20's.

I'd also recommend the P275/60R20 if your truck is stock. still light, just a hair taller than stock and won't give adverse affects like an LT tire will.

I've sold that size to a few customers that had stock trucks and wanted something slightly bigger, and they've all been happy with it.

I have 275/60/20 duratracs (although levelled) and my fuel consumption was only changed by about 0.6. Speedometer is out by only approximately 2%. Say it says I'm doing 100, I'm actually doing 102. Pretty minor in my opinion.

Not sure these will help due to level but here's a pic.

yeah if you've ever actually noticed, just about every Ford truck in existence reads high with stock tires. In both of my F150s, as well as the 2013 E150 I used to drive for work, if I had the cruise at 72 any GPS would read 70. With that in mind, going to a 275/60 would be so negligible that I personally wouldn't even bother messing with it.

Also - be careful because they do make LT275/60R20s as well so make sure you find something P metric if you want to keep your stock ride quality.
