Default 6.2L Raptor!!!

6.2L Powered Raptors Headed to a Ford Dealer Near You
If you've been waiting for an amazing on-road and off-road truck with a 6.2L SOHC V-8 producing more than 400 horsepower, your time is near. The
2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor with 6.2L power is now being shipped to dealers and will be available to you soon!

Roush Fenway driver and truck enthusiast Greg Biffle anxiously awaits his personal 6.2L powered Raptor, the first 6.2L production model off the line. When told about the delivery coming soon, Biffle said, "It's the very first Raptor produced with the 6.2 in it and I can't wait. It's pretty neat that they'd do that for me, and I know it's gonna have some collector value, but I want to drive it. I can't wait to get it. I'm like, 'I want to drive it.'"

I like the grill, but even if I won 42 Million dollars, I'd never buy one.

It would be a sin for the truck, I'd never use it off road. It wouldn't be practicle for me and I'd really have no use for it. I'd just end up being " That guy who baught one just cause he could ".

Id sooner buy a nice road truck and a Quad or dirt bike for off-roading.

It's a shame to say but I don't say I'm far off from actual numbers that 95% of Raptors purchased will only ever see off-roading 1-5 times. The rest of there time they have them " just cause I look cool "

Not to damper your thread :P

I don't know about the crazy stuff like baja, but I'm sure a lot of them will go off road fairly frequently. When you buy something that specialized, you tend to want to get something out of it.

You could say the same about a Corvette, but after being a frequent passenger in my roommate's GTO, you'd be surprised how many of them are willing to put down the hammer and break 3 digits. I have a feeling that Nitemare may be able to confirm this, haha.

but! i have a perfect example of what Justinn is saying.

Me and my friend have a friend that goes to USC, plays on the tennis team, has a house in newport beach and a condo in Palos Verdes, a 04 COBRA with 625 hp!, and a Lightning as his daily driver. His parents paid for it all. Any time we see him we literally have to beg him to take out the cobra, and have to beg him to floor it. Hes literally afraid of the car. I told him to race me in the lightning, his response: "I dont race my daily driver". My friends dad even makes fun of the kid. My friend is going in the army and when hes back on his first leave hes buying an 03/04 cobra. He tells his dad "you know when im gone im gunna need someone to take care of the cobra, you can race ben(our buddy)" his dads response "I dont need a cobra to beat ben, ill take him in the camry! he drives like a 16 year old girl!"

Uhh, don't let the inexperienced push what they can't control or this will happen to a beautiful car:

This happened on an afternoon drive through the canyons, no rush, just a drag racer that wasn't exactly comfortable turning...
