axle swap
only if you have a very, very deep pocketbook. better to sell the truck, buy a older f150 solid axle and fix it up. would be much more cost effective.
been brought up many times, heres the roundabout prices you will be looking at.
proffessionally with top of the line parts - 35 grand
you have tons of knowledge/help and junkyard most parts - 10 grand

^^lol im guessing thats a joke with the pictures you posted.
guy on the "other" f150 website actually did it. got it done at a proffesional offroad shop with all top of the line parts. posted pic of his recipt, 36 grand and some change. i think 10 or 11k was just labor. search for a straight axled f150 and you should find the thread on the first few pages of google.
and my 10k for doing it yourself price is including buying new wheels/tires and a lift.

Yeah the first quote was for a leaf sprung rear axle and when he went to a 4 link it cost him like 10k more. It's should be cheaper to get it from them now tho cause all the guess work is gone and less labor hours. So maybe 40k?
