I recently read the article that you wrote and that Lenn posted about leveling kits. A few months back, I bought my used 2012 XLT 4x4 unaware that the previous owner has installed one on the truck (and before this forum, I didn't even know what a leveling kit was!). My floor to fender height on both the front and back is exactly 39 inches. Any speculation on what size kit was installed? Is there a different way I should be measuring? I am running 265/70r17 tires at this point.

Wanted to say Thanks. I was having problems with my truck idling and your post on cleaning throttle body and MAF was a great help. Thanks again.

Hey, I'm looking to get a leveling kit, or shocks...just depending on which is better over the long haul. I'm assuming it's the shocks.

I want 2.5 inches in the front, so I was reading that thread you have been posting in, and I am sorta leaning towards the bilstein 5100 shocks. They aren't as expensive as I thought. There are two different models of them however...Which would be best in your opinion?

Check out trailworthyfab.com, that's one site online that sells and ships them. Also, you could check out any military base suppliers if you have a base near by. But whenever I was looking, I just googled "military tires" and found a few sites that sell and ship.
