Im not sure ig you're still active but i could really use your help. I have a f150 99 5.41 4r100 trans and i want to put the engine, trans, and driveshaft on a 4.6l v8 2003 and i want to know how it can make the transmission work on the 03 truck. Do i need to swap harness or is it plug and play
Hello I have 97 4.6 f150 I saw that you had replaced your EVR and said it made your truck run horribly. https://www.f150forum.com/f6/97-4-6-...r-dies-410053/
This response "To check it and since you post that it now idles correctly, -disconnect the green vac line completely from the EGR saucer (you can leave it hanging), take it for a drive and see how it runs. If it will idle and run perfectly well while increasing the rpms while stationary in park, then the popet is closed. Disconnecting the green line will keep it closed during the drivecycle and determine the problem. So see how it drives under load, -green line disconnected." does this mean that if my truck runs fine with green line disconnected I need a new EVR? I have cleaned throttle body and spacer all ports clear, new EGR valve, new DPFE. Truck misses under light/med throttle.. did all of this because of a P0401 and ended up with a p1151 lean code.
I was scrolling an old thread from 2019 and noticed you f150 had the exact bed cap I’m in the market for. Any interest in selling it? Respond back when you’re free . Thanks for your time!
Hey, quick question: I see you've got experience changing the heater core on 10th gen F150s. Did you discharge the A/C to do so? The Haynes manual says it has to be done, but I can't see why...thanks in advance, Mike
