Overall sound quality is most important. But I like additional bass, as much as I can have without adding a subwoofer. Don’t want to give up space in the backseat.

Just got a new 2023 F150 XLT. No B&O. Wanting to amplify all four doors and add sub. Maybe not all at once but I’m interested in your plugnplay harness. I believe my thought process is right…plug in harness, run RCA’s to amp, speaker wire from amp and back into harness for door speakers. For sub, just run second set of RCA’s to amp for sub.

Hi Hush, saw your post regarding cheaper alternative to crutchfield. I’m looking to upgrade my factory audio. I have a 2016 F150 super crew with 8” screen and center speaker. Looking to upgrade the whole system to add a bit more punch. Can you recommend a proper setup? No subs but would be interested in adding an amp if increases sound quality. Thanks.

    Hello Hush

I have a 2016 F150 XLT with 8" radio, no Sony or so.
i replaced all door factory speakers with JBL but :
-rear door don't have bass whatsoever.
    - I would like to add a JBL PRO sub, wiring as less as possible, so I wonder if I can use the WPT1212 behind left-rear seat ?
    - I don't know the meaning of Forescan, which I heard on this forum, or who or where I can have it done.
    Can you help me ?

    Thanks in advance

Hi, I would like to upgrade the stock system in my 2017 F150 Platinum (with Sony 10 speaker). I have a sub/amp/LC2i from a previous install (2011) that I plan on using for the short term (JL Audio 8W1V2-4 / Kenwood KAC-1502S). Maybe upgrade later.

I have been doing my research on replacing the factory speakers but am having trouble figuring out the best next step. Could you PM me to discuss?

    Thank you!

Hi, after lurking and reading these forums for awhile, I'm ready to do some audio system upgrades. I am interested in the Dayton 408 DSP, a FOR-11CK harness, an amp wiring kit, and the front/rear door panels for my 2019 XLT SuperCrew.

I am new to the F150 world having recently purchased a 2019 Lariat SuperCrew to replace the '12 F250 KR I sent to college with my son.

I've been reading through this forum for the last couple of weeks, and the posters speak very highly of you. Here's what I'd like input on.

-replace factory speakers and ideally add an amp for those
-add subs. I do not have the B&O. I'd love a box behind the rear seat, but I'm not sure there's room there for a big enough box to get good sound. I do not have under seat storage. I'd like to keep the overall truck looking as factory as possible (no crazy boxes)

I'm not looking to blow the doors off, just something that sounds good. My middle son will be driving the truck eventually, and he would like heavier and cleaner bass.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and what options you may have. I'm about 2100 miles away, so this is something I'd be buying from you to install myself.

    Thanks,

    Michael
