Hey do you have any experience with the AX-DSP-A2B2 for bypassing/removing the B&O on a 2018 F150? Ive read a lot of forums and it sounds like there's that and the NAV version. Do you have any suggestions on anything else that works better, cheaper, etc? Thanks!

Hey so I'm new to the forums and don't know a ton about audio wiring, but Im looking to change the bluetooth solution in my 2004 Ford-150 Lariat SuperCrew with stock 6-cd radio. The radio does not have RCA or Headphone Jack/Aux input either. For the longest time, Ive been using one of those jank FM transmitters and i'm tired of the poor audio quality. I was looking at buying a whole new head unit, but the one i want is just too expensive. I then did some searching and found that there are many solutions of wiring bluetooth directly into the radio through the wiring harness or whatever. Im looking for a cheap solution with good audio quality. Also, the radio has an unused "AUX" button on it so I would presume that bluetooth reciever can be wired into that, but I don't know which wiring harness diagram to use.

    Hello,
I have a stock, 2010, F150 XLT Super-Cab. the Short Back doors where the front door has to open first.
    .........
    what I want,...
More Volume. the existing sound is OK, but it does not get Loud Enough.
I would like the Head Unit to remain stock, as I use SYNC for my smart phone for hands free.
    .........
    Budget,
    can I get a $500 option, and a $800 Option?
    thx
    super bike mike

    Hello Bruce,

I just joined F150Forum.com today. I am shopping for a used F150 and plan on upgrading the audio after purchase. I would appreciate your advice regarding model year and options. I am shopping for a 2017-2019 F150 SuperCrew either XLT or Lariat. (most likely choice is a 2018 XLT, 2.7L with 8" display) Judging from the many posts that you have on this site, you will have a valuable opinion regarding the vehicle starting point. From my past experience a complete audio upgrade will run between $5K and $7K. (Alpine head unit, Morel Elate, DSL sub w/enclosure, AD amps, Mosconi DSP). Your offerings seem to much more reasonably priced

What do you recommend for model year and features?
Do you recommend changing head unit to aftermarket HU?
What speakers, amp, etc. would you recommend for the vehicle?

    Regards,
    Tom

    Thanks again
