I just finished these. Grafted the Ecoboost Badge into the fender badge. Most of the badge painted to match the truck - Tuxedo Black.

This is what I used. Purchased at Home Depot. I probably could have been a little more careful applying it. I wasn't too concerned. So far, no more spray has come in from the sides. I also like that I no longer need to worry about gravel getting stuck between the panels.

Here is mine, I only did the sides. I do tak my cover off about once a month. For the price of the LED strips, I may get another section and run it across the front like you. I will just use a 2-pin connector to allow me to remove the cover.

Kind of slick how they slowly dim when you turn them off...

This photo is in the same spot, one year later. Removed all the stickers and badges/emblems this morning. Washed it tonight. I am in that pivotal 2 hour window, where my clean black truck is the best looking vehicle on the road.

Removed the emblems from the fenders, doors (EcoBoost), rear quarters (XTR 4x4), and tailgate.

I am customizing the fender emblems. Time to yank the dealer license plate trim and mud flaps.

In this photo, you can see the upper mount, riveted vertically.

I may have mentioned this earlier - my XLT came with the extended hinge in place already. Not sure why. I just need to install the damper.

The XLT has more than enough options for my needs. No need to take a larger payment for the few extra options on the higher trim models.

I like the LEDs in the bed. After I added my tonneau cover the cab mounted cargo light was blocked. I added a strip of LEDs down each side of the BakFlip rail.

Went camping. The truck looks good dirty, parked on gravel, with our home away from home behind it!
