Default Need help with amp choice

I have 2 12 kicker comps and am in need of a new amp. My question is what do I need? There is 2 and 4 and 5 channel amps mono stereo and all that. I'm confused as what it all means even after using different search engines. I'm only gonna run the 2 12s on it nothing else. Also don't wanna spend a small fortune but I'm not cheap i know when it comes to stereos u pay for quality.

Are the subs dual or single voice coil, and what impedance/ohms are they?

I would buy a mono, which is 1 channel, amp. They're are designed specifically for subs. Or I would get a two channel amp that can be bridged to make it a one channel amp. This makes the amp deliver so much more power, which the subs must have.
