Default Timing Cover-HELP

Need help. I have a 1988 F150 351W motor. I bought a new timing cover from Ford Performance M-6059-D351 but the shape of the water inlet and outlet don't match the water pump inlet and outlet shapes (Airtex AW4044H). I chose this timing cover because it said it fit that engine. The original part number from the motor is RF-E7TE-6059-BA but I cannot find anyone having this part number and some say it is obsolete. I need this part to finish the engine. Is what I have correct even though the water inlet/outlet shapes are different or do I need a different timing cover?
ps-using serpentine belt so I believe reverse rotation water pump.
