Unhappy No fuel to engine

1994 f150 4.9 mfi automatic 2wd 2 door single rear after axle gas tank.
New fuel pump sending unit & new fuel filter.
All fuses under dash good & all fuses & relays under hood good.

No fuel coming to engine!?
Complete 100% tuneup & ALL fluids changed & flushed & new filters all around.
Battery,alternator,starter relay & starter good.

If the fuel pump relay is working then current is running to the fuel pump?
There is no sound coming from the new fuel pump.
When I unhooked the fuel filter hose coming from the engine to the fuel filter there is no fuel coming out of the fuel filter!?
If the new fuel pump is not sending fuel to the engine does that mean I have a defective fuel pump or something else?
Also the gas gauge is not working either.
GOD bless & thanks for any help.

First, check all of your wires to the new sending unit. If you have a multimeter check for voltage at the sending unit and pump. Second, make sure the grounds are clean of any corrosion. If the wiring is good and you have voltage I would say you probably have a bad sending unit or pump. Highly unlikely, but it can happen if the battery was still hooked up when you installed them.

After that I would pull the pump and wire it to the battery to see if it kicks on. Do not hold power to it for too long. Less than 1 second should kick it on and let you know it works. If you don't have voltage, you'll have to trace the wires back to make sure there is no break. I'm not sure if there are any fuseable links for the fuel system. Somebody else with a little more knowledge on these will probably have that answer.
