stuttering when given gas

Default stuttering when given gas

95 bronco 5.0 5spd went wheeling and when i i hit pavement it started stuttering when i applyed gas. it even did it when it was in neutral

shutters worst when giving gas very fast but if you slowly increase throttle it ll shutter but not as rough. truck shakes when it does it there is an extreme loss of power can only go uphill like 10 mph

Check and maybe clean your throttle body. When that is dirty or sensor not working right, it could cause those problems. Read other post about the throttle body and see if it seems familiar.

I also had a similar problem and it was corrosion under the distributor cap on the terminals. I just took a screw driver and chiseled it off for a temporary fix. Im not sure if this could have anything to do with your situation but worth a try

My truck did that. Every once in a while when I would get to a stop light it would die and wouldn't come back on for a while. I replaced my TPS (throttle positioning sensor) and cleaned out my throttle body and it was good as new.
