Default Starter keeps goin to hell on me

In the last 6 months I have been thru 3 starters, two from the salvage yard And the 3rd I had rebuilt by a very reputable auto-electric guy. I just hopped in and turned the key and click, starter is dead again. Any ideas why?

Take the starter back and see if the guy will warrant it. Invest in upgraded positive and negative cables throughout the circuit thus improving current flow.

I was able to get it started this morning by crawling under it and beating on the starter with a concrete pin. I had the brother in law turn the key while I beat the starter, I saw sparks coming from the top side of it and it turned over. Maybe it is a connection. I may try and pick up some new battery cables tomoro

When the grounds are bad, they will cook a starter fairly quick as I experienced. Most of my major grounds are a 4ga cable from the body to frame, battery to starter, starter to the frame and battery to engine.
