Default Part id and info?


I was told this part is the most likely cause of my random shutdown issue but i forgot what its called and cant find my repair manual

Tfi module. Also ignition control module. If you buy a new one, try to make sure it’s motorcraft. Also, none of them come with thermal paste like Arctic Silver. They come with dielectric grease. That’s for the connector. You must use thermal paste between the Tfi module and the heat sink. You’ll see it when you pull it off, just clean off old and put new.

Use what you want
But
Ford has been sending them out with dielectric grease since 1982
They never put any of that grease in the connector
