Default Obd/obdii

I've read that OBDII started in 1996. But is there an OBD or OBDI? My f150 is a 1994. The reason I want to know this is because my brother has a scan tool, and my truck broke down today. I think it's the O2 sensor. When starting(if it starts at all), it takes a little longer and I have to give a little gas. Then it runs very violently, sputtering, and then bogs down and shuts off. It doesn't respond to the pedal right away but when it does it revs up real high.

Thanks for any comments

Your truck is OBDI, you can pull the codes yourself without a scanner by following the sticky in the main 87-96 forum by JCMS, all you need is a paper clip or short length of wire.

Sounds like it may be a vacuum leak.
