Default No Instrument Panel or control panel lights

I have a 1992 F150 with a 5.0
Last night, all of the instrument panel lights and the temperature control panel lights went out including the radio lights. Prior to last night, they all worked fine. I checked the 4amp fuse and it was good. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

Have you tried to, I don't know, check the bulbs?

Checking the bulbs would mean pulling the instrument panel back. Thats seems kinda silly because how could every bulb on the instrument panel, radio, and temp control panel go out at the same time. I hope you wouldn't "check the bulbs" first if this was your truck. That would be very time consuming

I only thought there was 1 fuse. Is the other located in the fuse panel near the park brake handle?

Just remember Murphy and his silly law. Pull off the part that is easiest to get to, check the bulb(s) on it. Shouldn't take more than a couple minutes to check the temp control cluster. If it were my truck the first two things I would do is check fuses and bulbs.

That's not the first fuse panel that you check? Seems kind of silly if its not.

Well, he came for help and I offered a very simple option to check, he basically ridiculed it as unnecessary and time consuming when it isn't either. So....yeah.
