Default NEED HELP! Emissions problem

Okay so I have a problem. When I shut off my truck after driving my computer erases the memory for the emissions monitors. So when I shut it off I have to let me truck relearn everything when I start it back up. I need help because I can't pass emissions because my monitors are not ready when tested. 96 f150 4.9 L6 OBD2

I own a shop that does smog testing and from what I can gather Illinois also uses independant shops. Part of the test is to verify that the MIL light works, the truck needs to be shut off for this portion of the test. Find a shop in your area that will verify just once that the light is working. Then go and do the drive cycle to shut off the monitors without shutting the truck down before the test. You are allowed two monitors to be "not ready" and pass the test, thats not that hard to get done. Look up Ford obd2 drive cycle and follow the procedure. I know I'd work with a customer in your situation.
