If your key doesn't turn anything on, radio, fuel pump, but your getting power to headlights and parking lights with the headlight switch. It's most likely the ingintion switch under the steering column.

 

I'm not sure if the ECM would effect the starter not working at all.

 

Radio turns on and I got the truck running with a gravity fed gas tank hooked up directly to the engine. The other issue with this is there are also a lot of cables and plugins unplugged under steering column. That might be a link to issue
