Default Intermittent AC?

Okay guys, tough one for ya. My Air conditioning just randomly started acting up last week, it won't blow any air at all when my key is in the on position with my truck turned off. And when I turn my truck on, it takes it a minute for it to blow like it should. When I'm driving on the freeway at higher speeds, my air conditioning dies out until i let off the throttle. Not just during acceleration either. Haven't ran into this problem before.. Any ideas? Is it going to break the bank for me to fix it?? HELP

I don't know what year your truck is, but my '96 would cool randomly when I was driving until I fixed the vacuum line that directs the air flow. In my truck it is a white vacuum line under the hood near the passenger side firewall under the corner of the hood. It runs out of a bundle of wires and hooks around to a vacuum motor (?) on the heater box. I found the leak, cut the line shorter, reconnected, and works fine. If you can replace the line, that would be better.
