Default How to replace a head lamp assembly

Hello forum.

I just purchased a 1987 ford f150 4x4 with the 302. It's a beater work truck but I'd like to keep running as good as possible.
The right headlamp assembly is a bit melted(the bulb will no sit in it properly) where the bulb plugs in so I'm going to replace it. As far as I can tell this requires me to replace the whole fixture. I'm seeing them at about $40 for an ebay salvage. I started searching youtube for a video but I wasnt having any luck for the proper 87-91 year.
Any help would be appreciated.

Well I couldnt find a video. Went to the junk yard and found the replacement part for it. Purchased it and studied the screws. Turns out you have to remove the piece of plastic on top, remove the grill, then undo 5 bolts, remove the turn signal fixture and the assembly can then be popped off. Also my assembly from the junk yard was broken but the grey house for the lens and were the bulb screws in was good. So i then had to undo another hand full of screws to separate them out. One bolt head was a very odd 4.5mm size(on the screw that adjusts and aims the lens) and was a huge pita to undo but it eventually got everything back together and now I have a two working headlights.

Time to replace my windshield wiper motor but I had a much easier time finding a video for that.
