Gauge Cluster Swap
Hello everyone this is my first post and I am very excited to read everything. I have been reading everyone’s information and it’s very helpful. I’ve been working or restoring my truck one thing at a time.
So this is my issue, I have a 1992 Ford F-150 Extended Cab XLT 4x4. I am currently swapping the gauge cluster from a 1992 Automatic with all the same specs. My reason is for the tachometer. All the gauges work with the acception being I can not get the Battery Volt gauge to work no matter what. The original one did not work I swapped the one from the old gauge cluster and it still won’t work. Any information would help. Since they are the same year I know the wiring harnesses will line up.
