fusable link on solinoid.
the fusable link on the solinoid on the fender was broken so mi twisted it together with a wire nut what does it go to? i am thinking the alternator if so why did it blow as soon as i got it home i disconnected the battery. if it is the alternator i will upgrade to a 130 amp.

If you want to know what a fusible link does, find the WIRE COLORS where it's spliced to the normal harness. And note into which harness that wire goes. If you can't tell, post well-lit focused pics that show the colors, but aren't too close-up.
