Default Electrical Questions.

Just bought a '93 F150 and discovered a couple issues with the electrics. First the brights will come on when you pull the multi switch, but do not stay on when you let go, and the bright indicator does not light up on the dash. Second, the dash board lights are very dim and will go out completely if you turn them all the way up. Any adise is welcome.

Pulling the multi switch lever is the flash to pass feature. Also handy for flashing your high beams at people who forgot to dim theirs. Push the lever to turn on your high beams.
If you turn the dimmer all the way counter clockwise it should turn off your dash lights and turn on your interior lights. Or maybe your headlight switch is wearing out.
