Default Check engine light

In my 1992 f-150 the check engine light comes on for about 10 seconds then goes off. This keeps continuing. It didn't start to do this until I had to put it in 4 high cause of snow. I don't think these 2 things are related but that's when it started. Any help?

Usually blinking indicates misfires, as soon as it comes on pull over and use a paperclip or short piece of wire to pull you codes. https://www.f150forum.com/f10/how-re...es-obdi-10907/

Report back with the codes

What he said: This is what mine did. I started with a light occationally, then went on more often. It was bad plugs - and the TPS.

Codes are a lovely thing.
