Default Auxiliary lead on new negative battery cable?

I'm replacing the negative cable on my 1989 F150 (4.9l) and the replacement from LMC Truck seems to have a difference auxiliary lead. The picture is below. The new one just has one wire with a butt connector while the old one has two wires with some sort of plastic connectors.

Anyone know what the difference is or how I can get it to work? Thanks in advance

Default

Cut the two original small black wires near the terminal clamp. Strip them back about 3/4" and twist them tightly together. Now slip them into the yellow 10ga butt connector on the new cable and crimp it firmly. Coat the open ends of the butt connector with liquid tape, if desired, and you're set.
