Hi, I just bought my first truck and have had the same problem since I bought it. Truck goes through the drive cycles but when I turn the truck off the PCM loses power, resetting the drive cycles like I just removed the battery cable. If any body has had this problem please help. I'm disabled and don't have a job. I just don't know what else to do to fix the truck with out spending a lot of money I don't have.

 

You only need one thread for the same problem. Stick to one, you have three up for the same thing.

 

I know. My phone freaked out and told me I couldn't do the post then told me after I left the app that it went through. Sorry.

I don't know where you live but in North Carolina you can get a waiver if you spend more than $200 on an inspection issue and it is not a safety issue. I have a '96 I6 also and can't loose my 411 code. I have another six months to figure it out before I must reinspect.
