1994 Door Lock Actuators
Hey, currently have the extended cab F150. The Door locks were initially working when I bought the truck. I noticed that I was getting some weird fluctuations where they were work occasionally and other times they would not. Or for instance one side would work locking and not work unlocking but I could hear something in the door. Id see a power draw as well from the attached voltage meter as well as my USB outlet that shows it as well.
I figured I might as well change them since I was not the first owner and was not aware of when they may have been replaced if at all. I went and ordered some Motor craft units and replaced them. Unfortunately, the issue persists. one side was already replaced with a similar Chinese equivalent and the other was original.
I plan to inspect the wireing to see if there is a short or something to that effect but just wanted to get other opinion. The other forums I saw never said a 100% resolution. Also, the switches were recently replaced also. way before the issue came up.
Thanks everyone.

If China plan on replacing it again (and again) Try to find new old stock actuators on Ebay (right, they are 125 bucks)
Remove the panel and test the power and ground switching to the lock actuator
Switches are common to fail as are the actuators
Yours is the actuator most likely if the other one works when you hit the switch
