Good evening,

Have a 92 F1 that my grandfather bought new (still have the window sticker). Going through it to repair and restore this truck and I found this capped wire behind the seat. Looks like its tied into the seatbelt wiring but I'm not 100% on the OBS infrastructure yet, Would love some info.

I believe you are right
It should go to the seat belt buckle
I have a 1990 EVTM that might show the wire
Might ought to be two of them

 

Ill have to look under a little better. I assume the 92 doesn't have a seatbelt warning light or anything like that.

 

Your 92 should have a seatbelt warning chime module like this 1990 schematic shows
The wire colors are most likely the same
