steering wheel moves up and down

Default steering wheel moves up and down

So I'm kinda new here y'all so don't be givin me any crap but I can grab my steering wheel at the top and push it and it moves up and down. Anyone else got any solutions to this?

Just the wheel, or the whole column? Share a little more about the truck... body-lift, etc?

do you have a solid steering wheel, or can you move it up and down with a lever on the steering column?

If its the entire colum moving, look under the dash where the column bolts up. Check and see if they need tightened up. Hard to get pics of

Sounds like tilt wheel but surely you'd know about that. If you have a lever on the left side of the steering column, move it up or down and check to see if that fixes your problem.If it does I'd suggest that you download the appropriate owners manual to see what other options you might have...such as a parking brake and glove box. If there isn't a lever on the steering column then refer to the post about the steering mounting bolts.
