Default Spinning nut.

So I’m trying to get the ignition switch off of a 1990 f150 automatic. But one of the nuts that hold the switch onto the steering column is just spinning on the stud. It won’t loosen or tighten. It just spins. There really isn’t much room in that tiny area around it. So I can’t think of any options I have to get that switch off without damaging anything.

Put a small prybar under the switch, and pull the switch away from the column as you spin the nut.
