Default power Window Issue

I replaced the power window electric motor with a aftermarket one (advanced autos brand) about three months ago. First thing i did notice that the window seemed to go up tighter than it used too. It also would get hung up and wouldn't come down when extremely cold, not a problem before. Well just last night I found the window was shattered, I mean totally shattered. Was not caused by any other factor. The truck is garage kept, garage is attached to the house so it is somewhat heated, and has been located in there for a week now without moving. My question is there a adjustment when you install a new window motor so it doesn't go up so tight. is there a overload switch somewhere that lets the motor know it is all the way up or down? If I have to break down and buy an actual ford motor ( I already threw the old one out) I will , but i want to see if there may be other factors before I replace the glass and break a new window.

there is no adjustment on the motor. The motor has "pegs" in it that when the widow goes all the way up or down that they "give" when the max is reached. The window going up and down slow sound like the pegs might be dry inside the motor. Another thing, whoever put the motor in might have twisted or bent the the window regulator mechanism.

i was the one who put the motor in haha. I thought about that maybe i had bent it so i took apart the passenger side and compared the two, it seems be the same so now I'm just into thinking the glass just happened to break, maybe some sort of temperature change or sudden pressure change made it break. I did notice there is a stop on the actual regulator so it cannot go up anymore.
