Default Floor clicker?

Hi guys, I bought a 1994 f250 and it has this thing at the top left on the ground on the drivers side (stainless or aluminum?) it's like a push button on the older Fords for high beams.

I push it and nothing happens, from what I can tell. Would anyone know what it is? I didn't have it on my old 94 f150.

Strange it looks OEM built into the ground through the carpet etc. Been playing with it all day no idea what it is.

Turn on your head lights and see if its the High Beam switch. That's the way Ford did them on my 86. I thought the 92 and new had a Multi function switch for wipers, turn signal and high beam.

Ok didn't read that you knew about the old high beam switch. If this was a former law enforcement truck it could be a kill switch or release for a long gun mount.

See what they may lead to if they lead to anything at all. The stalk switch could have gone bad for the PO and he may have installed the foot switch as an interim switch until the stalk was replaced.

Yeah it's definitely for the headlights.... up to 1991. Idk what it is in your 1994, maybe someone added them in as high beams? I don't know. Turn your lights on and press it.
