96 f150 driverside mirror shakes and has rattle inside of the door that drives me f crazy. Pushing my leg against the door panel while driving stops the rattle but the mirror still shakes. assume there is a broken bracket inside the door. anyone have the same problem and how did you fix???

 

Took my door panel off and tightened the screw. Fixed.

 

The mirrors also rust internally and shake allot. I can't fold my drivers side mirror cause the joint is rusted and shakes the mirror.

 

Go to a junk yard nd find another one I the same for mines but my mirror glass jus fell off
