My dome light gets very hot when on for just a few minutes. Is this normal? Im wondering if that is the correct bulb. (912) Ive been thinking about replacing the 912 bulb in there with an LED. Anyone done this?

Yea, it gets fairly hot, especially with the maps on too. I wouldn't say scolding hot but hot to touch more then a few seconds.A good amount of people have replaced the bulbs with leds, some people replace nearly every bulb on the truck with leds. It should work fine.
