Wheel size
Hello, I am looking to upgrade my tires but wanted to make sure they will mount fine on my stock wheels. Anyone know how wide the stock wheels are on a 1992 f150 4wd? (The tires I'm looking to get are 33"x10.5" BFG KM3 btw)
Should be 7.5" at that time.
You can pull the wheel off and look for a stamp on the inside.
There were a few wheel options an I don't know if any of them were different widths. I had the Chrome wheels with the holes around them.
Even easier, look at the sticker on the door jamb, should list the factory tire size and rim size.
You should be okay. Lots of 33x12.5 and 32x11.5 at the time. I wouldn't have gone 12.5.
Do you have the P235 tire or P265 stock wheel size?

Depends on the wheels, but most will be 7.5 wide and fit the 10.5 wide tire just fine. I have 11.5 wides on mine and notice no issues. Some run 12.5's but that seems a little bit too much for me. The problem you will face will be the 33" height - that will surely do some rubbing on the bumper or radius arms without some type of lift or level in the front.
Good point.
I had 2" leveling coils on mine for many many years with the 32x11.5. I eventually installed a Rancho 4", then rubbed their radius arm. LOL
I did have an aftermarket wheel (a little more poke) but no idea what the backspace was.

I don’t know the metric conversion off the top of my head but I have the 30s on it. I am prepared for the modifications needed to clear 33s and I plan on a 4” lift on the future as well. Thank y’all for the replies.
Going from the 30's to the 33's you'll see a big performance hit.
You're in between the 235/75-15 and 265-75-15 stock options at 30". LOL A tad closer to the 265 factory option though.
Either way you're going from 29" to 33" or 30.5" to 33". Worst hit is going to be overdrive on that truck (especially with the 302). You may have offset that a little with your modifications but it's still gonna hurt.

Okay, just curious about the amount of change.
