Hi, my 1995 F150 tailgate is locke on the pass. side, ok on the drivers...........why?

Help...easy fix????

 

your question is very confusing..
are you saying the handle only actuates one of the latches? if so you need to remove the cover from the tailgate and watch the actuator rods while moving the handle.

its likely you just need to lubricate things..watch whats going on in theres and spray a bit of penetrating grease at all the pivots.

 

I think you should load the truck up & drive NorthWest ASAP. You can figure the t/g latches out later.

 

Remove the inside cover on the tailgate. This will expose the mechanism inside. Check to see if it's become disconnected, there's a little nylon bushing that tends to dry up and crumble so that may be your issue. If it's all attached, lubricate the moving parts of the mechanism, perhaps some penetrating oil would help in that regard.
