Hello,
first post... wanna take off side mirrors to apply rust removal. is there a nut or something back there that will fall off if I unscrew it from body? I dont want it to fall between the metal and the interior plastic paneling

You have to pull the door panel off to get the third bolt that holds the mirror in place if its the newer style plastic mirrors.

'95 can have 3 styles of mirrors. If they are power mirrors, there are three screws you need to remove. The two that are visible from the outside (there are no nuts inside the door to fall down), and then, as the poster above said, you have to take off the inside door panel to get to the third screw. Take that off, and disconnect the wiring and take it out. The other two styles (one connects to the door at two points and is called a Western type, swing-away and the other connects at 3 points and is called a Recresation swing-out, dual position mirror) use rivet nuts, but I do not believe they fall down when unscrewed - they just stay put.
