Default Side Marker Lights

Inherited a '95 F150 XLT. Sold it to a kid and noticed that a side marker lens was off so ordered replacements. Put it on but it did not seem to fit as well as the factory installed one. I don't know how we could have done anything different because the bracket and screw/bolt holes are specific and must line up, which they did. Anybody have any suggestions or is that just the chance you take with after-market parts from Taiwan? It is not bad bad just not tight tolerances as I would like.

He is not complaining, his mother even wanted to pay me for the part and for putting it on for him, of course I declined. I guess I view the world a little differently and take responsibility. I just wanted to make sure that I did not miss something and could maybe make it better. Like I said before it is not that bad and is better than a missing lens!!
