Default Remove WIndshield Trim

Hi,

I have got this tool from USA to remove the WIndshield trim for my 1989 f150.

How to use it? I tried and failed.... The guides and videos online don't quite show what you are supposed to clip or hook with it, just where to place it.

I am surprised I can't figure this out... managed to change the rod bearings without removing the engine on my truck, but completely defeated by windshield trim pieces.

Cheers,
Dan

The tool you got is very similar - it's just split into 2 spread legs.

Slide under the trim from the window side then slide to the left or right and hook the clip.

Pull towards the center of the windshild as the clip is hooking the outside edge of the trim.

It'll probably help if you support the trim with your other hand to keep it from pulling with the clip while you pull "in" to the center of the window. and also gently pushing the trim "in" as in towards the inside of the cab at the outside edge.

Once you get one done and see how it works it'll make more sense and the rest will be easier.
