You will spend to much time getting the table level to play. Put a ping pong table on it and make it so when u want to play you turn the table 90* to play. I wish I had your money. I need my truck to drive and hall stuff around not to play games and be cool.

For leveling, carry 2x8's with....chop one or two into one foot pieces and when a corner needs to be leveled, throw out what you need and park on it. Either way you'll have some dicking around no matter how you face the leveling for the table. I'd say lose the 24's......just think its too much work suspension and body wise especially to drop the frame to the ground while parked if you so desire. A 20" will do the job nicely.

What would be really cool is make the bed quickly detach and stand on its own.....like dropping a with wheel trailer or in bed camper. Leveling and shooting would be immensely improved and easier with the suspension element removed. Would be some work to do something like that, but would be bad *** imo.

i dont want a stand alone bed. i posted a link in a previous reply for a pool table truck where the bed separates. i havent found any like i am planning. and ive actually been tossing around a few ideas on fabricating some fold down jack stands to attach to my frame. when i want to play, i could get out, manually fold down the jacks, and drop the bags to where my tires are off the ground. then id just have to figure out a way to fine tune the leveling.

If that's the route you're going to try then see about using the kind of jacks that are on the tongues of trailers. Then you would just need a couple levels on the table while you adjust each "corner". You realize this is going to be a lot of fab work just to keep a pool table in the bed of your truck right?

im not understanding how this is going to be very complicated at all. my biggest worry was the suspension giving, but i think the jack stands will work great. ive been drawing up some ideas on some manual hand cranks to lift/lower each corner individually. my design for the frame and ball return is decently simple, and im leaning towards chopping the top instead of the roll down back window. i will be doing all of the work, so labor cost isnt a problem. if im missing something that is alot harder than i am putting on please feel free to let me know
