Default LED 3rd brake light from LMC

Anyone install one of these? I remember opening mine up for bulb, and center brake bulb is burnt inside (like the plastic all around is burnt but still working!).

I just saw this from LMC truck. I don't recall a quick release pigtail like this one has. I think I just remember seeing wires disappearing into a wire loom.

Has anyone installed on of these?

LMC is always really expensive for no apparent reason.

Well ain't that something! I'm no electrician, but would you know if the original has a pigtail like that?

Truck still at my mechanic so I can't open it up. That would be so awesome if it's just 2 screws and a pigtail.

I got pulled over for a 3rd light off and when I replaced it, the whole insides were burnt! I have no idea how it's still working after putting in a new bulb.

On my 94 there is a plug for the harness that goes to that light, so theoretically it should be plug and play.

They also sell other types on ebay - I actually would prefer the one that is black over the chrome - but most of the others I have seen you have to splice the wires. Not that big of a deal but just one more thing to do.

Nice nice! Yes, black would be good. It'll match my cool chalkboard paint (kids in my neighborhood actually write inspiring and good things on it! No pics of penises despite the multitude of pre-pubescent boys in my complex). Also just got a black bumper from the parts pick.

I wound up buying something similar on Amazon so I can have Prime returns in case anything happens. And easier on my taxes at end of year, I can just print out all the year's purchases from one spot

Welp, I installed it this morning. Came 1 day delivery from Amazon.

About the 2nd easiest thing I've done on the truck. Easiest it to screw in new license plates. Opened door, and I forgot the white lights turn on when you do that so I was like "cool, it works". Took a stick and pressed the brakes so I can see it light it and whoop, bright during the day!

Yeah, no black though and I can see the chrome wearing out in time but oh well. Here's the link to the Amazon site in case anyone is wondering:
