Ok so I recently replaced my fuel sending unit in my front tank of my 89 f150. After replacing it i went to fill kt up and found fuel leaking from the new sending unit. I verified this by watching it leak from the sending unit as I filled it up with a gas can. I double checked the o ring was seating right and also double checked the lock ring was fully on. Any ideas?

That's what I'm thinking or maybe the locking ring is bent a little. I have a new locking ring and gasket coming in today through Napa so hoping that works
