Hello all, I recently acquired the running boards for $40 from Facebook marketplace, I know I overpaid but I've been searching for these for awhile now and they're always busted in the junkyard. Has anyone ever installed these on an earlier truck? Do the brackets need heavily modified? They seem to be far off from lining up when I hold them up with a jack. Also one is missing one bracket and and they are both missing the end brackets any insight/photos/suggestions would be appreciated. Also what do you guys thing of them on the truck? Too much? Thanks all

$40 is a steal if the fiberglass is in good shape.

I've been dinking with them today and all I can say is nothing lines up at all, the brackets are homemade out of solid square stock. When they are lined up to the lines of the truck they are barely even making contact with mounting points, when the brackets are lined up it's about an inch in too far in the front and too low in the back so I dont know...
