I have a 92 f 150 that has been modified with the drive train out if a mid to late 70s truck. Has a 351m with a c6 tranny. Im wanting to drop a 460 in it. Will it fit and what will i need to make it work?

 

I think the ECM and bolt pattern on the bell housing are different.

Dang it. I was told that the bell housing on a 351 m was the same. I was told its just different motor mounts but i dont know for sure. What else would fit? I dont want another 351m

 

I think you're stuck with that drive train, I could be wrong though. I heard you could special order HD trucks with the C6 from 94-97? Never seen it myself.

 

Everything in the drive train came out of a mid to late 70s truck. The truck had been modified with with the 351m and c6 built tranny. The truck came stock a 6cyl 5 speed. I got it after all this work was put.into it.
