Default Truck surges and then dies

I have a 1993 Lightning, the truck runs great when it's cold and warming up, but when the temp gets to a level around 190-200F the truck starts to surge and then dies, I can keep it running while coasting in Neutral. If I park the truck the RPM goes up to 1100 from the base of 900. This has gone for about a month, and the truck has been to several shops, with nothing more then bills and no problems solved.

Need help

Since you said that the truck runs fine on cold startup until it warms up, it appears that you have a faulty sensor input (O2, MAP, EGR, etc.). Also possible to have a sludged IAC. Have you scanned for codes?

Yes, and there are no codes. IAC is new and has been cleaned and tested, New Distributor and Ignition Module. I will check the other sensors in the morning when the truck cools off.

Pulled the computer and opened the case to find that 2 of the 4 capacitors were burnt, 2 of the black processer chips were damaged, and signs of water damage as well. Having trouble finding a REMAN unit, would like a new unit but there are no company's carrying them anymore.

You won't find any new ones - Cardone 78-5740 is the part number you will need.
