I am shopping now for a 5spd manual to mate with my i6. The RE is 3.08. I will be looking for 3.55 or 3.7x over the next half year. This truck will end up with a lightweight camper on the top (total weight 1,400 pounds), or pulling a small trailer with 80% of the miles on the freeway. On the non-renewable miles, I will often be pulling a 1600 lb utility trailer. I know the i6 puts out a lot of torque but I don't want to push it over the edge. The tires are also a part of the gear ratio in the drive line. Any suggestions on the RE gear ratio and tire size?
