Default tips for clutch replacement

hello i will be replacing my clutch, hydro components, and the flywheel in about a month on my m5od-r2/ 300 I6. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks? this will be my first time changing a clutch myself

I would suggest getting a Haynes repair manual and reading their step by step instructions, I think they are pretty good on this job. You will definitely want a transmission jack of some sort, you don't need anything fancy. It helps to have a good selection of both metric and standard hand tools.

You will need a clutch alignment tool - quite often they come with the clutch but not always so check.
Also plan on removing your flywheel and taking it in to be resurfaced.

Since I work for a parts store I get a good price on New parts so I'm replacing the flywheel and bolts, master and slave and while I'm at it I'm replacing the output seal on the transmission all together I'm looking at about.$300 in parts
