Default Squeaky Belt

I have an intermittent squeaky serpentine belt. Intermittent meaning rarely but sometimes the noise completely goes away. It always gets louder when I turn the a/c on and it’s a squeaky squeak squeak not a constant squeal. I sprayed water on the belt and the squeak went away and then came back louder very shortly after that. Also I did change my power steering pump to a Saginaw pump and initially it didn’t squeak but it seems like it happened shortly after that change. The belt is new and I used my old pulley from my ford power steering pump and they were the same size

First step would probably be to check all of the pulleys for excessive play and to make sure none of them are bent.
And just because the belt is new doesn't mean it's good. I once got a brand new belt and I kept having the issue of it chirping, and when I would rev the motor it would sometimes jump out of the correct grooves on the alternator pulley. I eventually decided to compare it side by side to my old belt, and it was less than a sixteenth of an inch too wide, but I returned that belt to get a replacement and haven't had problems since.

Right on thanks for input, I think I figured out where it’s coming from, I got it to go away by spraying some lubricant on the ac compressor clutch. I think it’s just the clutch being that the noise sometimes would go away if I didn’t have the ac on. It’s now not making it but I think it’s just some loose metal on the clutch plate, if it were the bearing it would
be consistent all the time.

No, pulley bearing noise comes & goes as temperature & load change (among other factors). Remove the belt & try to spin each pulley by hand (except the crankshaft & P/S pump).

The compressor clutch is NOT designed or intended to be lubricated. Where exactly did you spray it? If there's any chance it got on (or will work its way onto) the belt, you should wash it down again with soap & lots of water.

Well i don’t know what to tell you, it isn’t making the noise anymore and it drove home from work fine

Default Perplexed

I’ve tried a few things now, I replaced my belt tensioner assembly and the squeak went away for about a day and a half and came back, but it seems when I clean my belt it helps it any help on diagnosing would
be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to throw more parts at it unless that’s the only way to diagnose it, the squeak increases in noise and frequency when accelerating but will change and sometimes go away almost completely at times
